Unless you’re in Qatar, you may not have heard the 2022 FIFA World Cup news. However, you may have heard the word “Qatar” if you’ve been watching World Cup games. You’ll also know that the tournament is slated to take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022. The final is slated for December 18, which will coincide with Qatar’s national day.

As of October 2017, there are currently 32 teams in the running for the knockout rounds of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. These teams will face each other in a group stage, with the top two teams moving on to the knockout stage.

The first round of matches will take place on Monday and Tuesday. The first two games will begin at 1pm UK time, with the second set to start at 7pm.

In the Group E, Spain will take on Costa Rica. Argentina is in Group C, where they will face Mexico. Robert Lewandowski’s Poland is in Group C, too. The rest of the teams are in Group D, Group F, Group G and Group H.
